Intravenous Therapy
IV (intravenous) nutrient therapy delivers a customized blend of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into your bloodstream for fast, effective absorption. Unlike oral supplements, IV therapy bypasses the digestive system, allowing your body to fully absorb and utilize nutrients at a cellular level.
Each IV treatment is tailored to your individual needs and goals. After a thorough assessment, we’ll determine the right combination of nutrients to help you feel your best.
Intramuscular Injections
IM (intramuscular) injections deliver a targeted dose of nutrients directly into the muscle tissue, allowing for fast absorption and long-lasting effects. These injections are quick and effective.
Injection Therapy
Dr. Ouimet offers a multitude of injection therapies intended to relieve pain, improve mobility and promote healing. An ultrasound-guided approach allows Dr. Ouimet to accurately target the affected area.
Whether it's an acute injury or a chronic condition, injection therapies can aid your body in its healing process to relieve discomfort and improve function.
Prolotherapy
stimulates the body’s natural healing processes to strengthen weakened or damaged ligaments, tendons, and joints. A solution is injected into the affected area to trigger a localized healing response, encouraging tissue repair, and reducing pain over time. It’s a safe, non-surgical option for chronic pain, joint instability, and musculoskeletal injuries.Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid injections provide lubrication and cushioning within joints to relieve pain and improve mobility. Products like Durolane® and SportVis™ are used to treat osteoarthritis or joint degeneration by restoring the natural shock-absorbing properties of synovial fluid. These treatments are especially helpful for those experiencing knee pain, early cartilage wear, or joint stiffness from repetitive use or aging.Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy: Coming Soon
PRP therapy uses your body’s own healing factors to repair and regenerate damaged tissue. A small amount of your blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge to isolate platelets, and then re-injected into the injured area. PRP is commonly used for tendon, ligament and joint injuries. It’s an evidence-based option for acute and chronic conditions that promotes tissue healing and can ease pain.
Trigger Point Injections
Trigger point injections target tight, knotted bands of muscle that are causing pain or tension. A small amount of anesthetic is injected directly into the trigger point to release the muscle, improve blood flow, and reduce pain. This therapy is commonly used for tension headaches, neck and back pain, and chronic muscle tightness.
Perineural Therapy
Perineural therapy involves the injection of a low-concentration anesthetic just under the skin along inflamed or irritated nerves. This gentle approach helps calm the nervous system and reduce pain caused by nerve irritation (neurogenic inflammation). It can also be beneficial in breaking up scar tissue.
PAP Testing
A PAP test (or PAP smear) is a simple screening tool used to detect abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix, which could indicate an increased risk for cervical cancer. It’s a quick, in-office procedure that plays a key role in early detection and prevention.
Lab Testing and Specialized Lab Tests
Lab testing is a valuable tool used to assess overall health, identify deficiencies or imbalances, and guide personalized treatment plans. Access to LifeLabs allows us to test key blood markers that provide insight into your current health status.
Specialized lab testing allows us to dive deeper than conventional testing—offering a more detailed look at things like hormones, nutrient levels, digestive function, and more. These advanced insights help us better understand the root cause of symptoms and tailor treatments specifically to your needs.
